When I say I love Twitter, I mean I love Twitter. I get so much information on there in such a short amount of time.
Call me weird, but I have met some cool people on there including Mr. Billy Illi William a.k.a The Boy Illinois. He’s a dope artist from Chicago with big dreams. I was going to do a little artist profile on him, but I’ll save that for later. Until then, enjoy this song he released yesterday called “A Lil Bit Off”. When I first listened to it, right when I turned it off, I caught myself humming it. Catchy? I think so!

Rest In Peace Aaliyah
January 16, 1979 – August 25, 2001
One of the many women that I envied and cherish at the same time. I will always remember watching her music videos with my sister and cousin and copy every dance move that she did. We tried to be on point so bad, I really wish I would’ve taped it. Her music had a way of touching everyone at any age. I was young and still had the world in front of me, but I felt real emotion through her music.
Whenever a tragedy or something significant happens, I question what was I doing at that time when I heard the news. When I found out the news about Aaliyah’s death I was in denial.
It was another late night at my cousin’s house. A hand full of offsprings running around due to the hard work of birthing 11 children my grandma ensued. I just turned 11 years old and felt that life was endless. The other kids that lived through out the street were all over. It was the typical everyday night with video games and skateboards. I remember I was either playing tag with my best friend and a few other kids, watching the stars with my best friend and younger cousins, or I was trying to be like the boys and skateboard. Which ever it was, I remember being outside in front of the house standing in the warm summer night and my aunt came in and just said it. Everyone of us just looked at her in disbelief. I thought she was telling a white lie. A death to lie about wasn’t such a funny joke so I figured it was indeed true. Then and there it hit me, life isn’t promised. Life doesn’t always go as planned. Death doesn’t care how young one is or how talented a person can be. Death is death. It’s something that never gets easier by how many deaths you’ve encountered.
Bottom line, embrace life and live it up. Life’s to short, actually, life is unexpected so make the best of it!
You will always be remembered Aaliyah! It’s been 8 years still your death, but your music and presence will last forever.

Ms. eldest of the hot Kardashian family & the most petite, Kourtney Kardashian, has confirmed her pregnancy. Not to say that anybody noticed because god knows she didn’t gain an inch of weight(at least not yet). Now with all that excitement running through the grapevine, she also didn’t say who the father is. *gasp*
I guess were gonna have to expand her fame and take it over to The Maury Show.
